The TCU Lady Frogs gained their nineteenth straight home win after defeating the struggling Air Force Academy Falcons 77-47 on Saturday.

The duo of TCU forwards, freshman Delisa Gross and junior Helena Sverrisdottir, led the team with 17 points each.

This marked a high for Gross' college career. She was 7-of-10 at the free throw line and contributed six rebounds.

Sverrisdottir was 3-for-3 in three-point attempts, and hit one long shot at the end of the first half to put the Frogs up 38-19 heading into the locker room. She also supplied defensive pressure by recording six steals.

"We know that we have to come in, play hard, and try to get better," said Sverrisdottir.

Senior guard TK LaFleur made a strong offensive contribution in the background, posting a game-high of six assists. The Lady Frogs ended with 20 total assists out of 28 successful field goals, which explains the cohesive play of the team well.

"We shared the ball well in the second half," said head coach Jeff Mittie. "It was good to get a win and I think we were able to pass the ball better."

TCU held the Falcons to a field goal percentage of 34, while achieving 51.9 percent themselves. The Frogs forced 22 turnovers and scored 34 points off their opponent's mistakes. All suited players were able to have time on the court and contributed 34 points from the bench.

"Our top seven played particularly well," said Mittie.

Next Wednesday, TCU travels to Utah to continue the second half of conference plays this season.
