New football uniform now on display in bookstore

The new TCU uniform that will be worn during the Utah game Nov. 14 has been put on display by members of the Nike Street Team in the TCU Bookstore on Friday. The complete uniform is hidden in a large lockbox, which will be unlocked by one patron Sunday. The patron who punches in the correct code on an electronic lock and will receive a replica of the new jersey.

The bookstore is also selling t-shirts with a picture of the new helmet the Frogs will wear Nov. 14 along with a black "Won't back down" t-shirt.

I think this is just stupid...I like the uniform the way it is, I hope they don't keep this.
Marketing is way out of control here and so in Nike, just leave us alone. (Continued…)

Don't like this one bit. Bad karma to change uniforms in the midst of an 8-0 season. Don't like it at all. You dance with the one what brung ya. Think Penn State, UT, Notre Dame or Michigan will be changing unis in two weeks? Consistency is part of building a legacy. (Continued…)

The TCU Frogs are a GREAT football team, and they'll WIN no matter what they're wearing! No need to freak out over a uniform.

If, by UT, you mean Texas, than yes they will indeed be changing uniforms in two weeks. They're one of 10 teams doing it. Traditional teams like Ohio State, Miami, Florida State, and Florida will also be doing it for a game. (Continued…)

Maybe I was over reacting, If this is just for one game great, but I would not change this for what we have, I don't care what they wear, as long as the win and the fans are loud, loud, loud. (Continued…)

The red is on the helmet looks terrible. It's not even a school color and the strip layout is bad. I don't care if it is suppose to symbolize blood. (Continued…)
