Horned Frogs 8th in first BCS standings

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - TCU is eighth in the first Bowl Championship Series rankings of the season.
In what the Horned Frogs (6-0) hope will be their BCS-busting, they are eighth in the rankings released Sunday. That is four spots below Boise State, the only team from a non-BCS conference ahead of them.
TCU is undefeated halfway through its regular schedule after a 44-6 victory over Colorado State on Saturday night.
While the Horned Frogs also moved back into the Top 10 of The Associated Press poll Sunday with a two-spot jump from 12th, they have already turned their attention to Saturday's game at No. 16 BYU.
