Every day as the clock strikes nine at TCU, campus parking lots are full of unfortunate students. Circling the lot, they hope against hope that someone is on the way out. In the likely event that a student is running out of time and someone is a, not leaving or b, speeds in at break-neck speed to the spot, students are faced with a major dilemma. (0) comments
Since you're reading this, chances are you've heard of The Aardvark. If you've heard of The Aardvark, you've also probably heard of the Austin-based band Nelo. Throughout my years at TCU, I have kept mental notes of how opposing fans act. I have been to every single home game and a few away games, and the reactions have been very similar. Fans of the non-BCS schools tended to be more respectful and more pleasant to be around. (0) comments
I am the treasurer of Fort Worth Citizens for Responsible Government and editor of our electronic newsletter. As much as I am a passionate scientist, enthusiastic about the restoration and preservation of the Earth, I think about more than just figures, graphs and insects. With a strong community foundation, I believe that local interests and values within the community become extremely important. (0) comments
The university's application numbers are lower than in previous years. But, whether that is the case, we should continue to strive to be a place where qualified individuals seek education. (0) comments
